Guest speaker will be Detective Cassandra “Cassi” Shaffer, who will lead a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) workshop provided by The Ohio State University Police Division that teaches realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to women.

Through simple practices of presence, breathing, and group check-in, Feminist Grounding is a healing circle that gathers OPAWL members (Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander women and non-binary folx) the 2nd Thursday of each month to discuss the parts of our lives that are in most need of visibility. The overarching theme for 2021 will explore the question: What does healing look like for AAPI bodies?
