Critical Difference - Research on Women Grants

Through the generous support of the Coca-Cola Foundation, the Critical Difference Program awards grants to faculty and PhD candidates/terminal master's degree students to support research that explores women's lives, gender equity, and gender broadly conceptualized. The grant competition is administered by The Women's Place.

The Coca-Cola Critical Difference Grants for Research on Women, Gender and Gender Equity are designed to support research by Ohio State faculty and PhD and terminal master's degree candidates that explores women's lives, gender equity, or gender broadly conceptualized. All faculty (tenure-track, clinical/teaching/practice, research and associated) are eligible, as are postdoctoral scholars whose term at Ohio State does not conclude before the end of the grant period. The number of grants depends on availability of funds.

Proposals are encouraged from all departments, colleges, and professional schools. Priority may be given to gender research that includes a focus on diversity or on issues and groups that remain understudied.

There are two types of Research on Women Grants: faculty and student.
