During the review of Sexual Civility and Empowerment, support services for survivors are still available, on campus and in the community, being offered by different programs.

The Ohio State University is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment. We have an extensive system of programs for providing support and services for members of our community who experience sexual misconduct. As part of our commitment to having the best programs in place to serve our students, the processes in Sexual Civility and Empowerment are currently undergoing a review.

During this review, students seeking services from this unit are currently being provided services by the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO) and other university departments, such as Counseling and Consultation Service and the Student Advocacy Center. SARNCO aftercare advocates are currently able to meet with students anywhere, including on campus. Students and employees may contact a trained sexual violence victims advocate through SARNCO and the Ohio Helpline 24-hours a day and 7-days a week. SARNCO is a free, confidential resource, and they are able to connect someone to campus-specific resources and also arrange anonymous conversations with university service providers, if the student or employee is hesitant to be identified.

For more information about the range of services available at the university, please visit the Buckeyes ACT website page and/or The Women's Place Policies, Programs, and Services website page. In addition, the university's Reporting and Resources brochure includes guidance and information about many campus and community offices and organizations that provide assistance for victims of sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking.
